Edward Pearce LLP in Paris 2015

On the 12th June the Partners, staff and their plus 1's set off from St Pancras Station for a long weekend in Paris, this the final and pinnacle event of Edward Pearce's LLP celebratory year to mark our 70th Anniversary. The weekend was a huge success with everyone free to spend their time in Paris as they wished with the exception of Saturday evening when a celebratory dinner was arranged at the quaintly named Paris restaurant 'Au Chien qui Fume'.

The dinner also doubled up as an emotionally charged farewell to the retiring Stuart Gatherer. Stuart's 45 years at the company were marked by a speech from Mike Windsor, the current senior partner and the presentation of a gift of an watch engraved to commemorate Stuart's long service which began in 1971. It is thought that Stuart is the only staff member to have met and worked under all the partners of Edward Pearce including the founder himself.

We were blessed with a fine weekend of weather allowing everyone to undertake many different activities including visits to many of Paris's Museums, the many sights, Jazz Clubs, boat trips along the Seine and naturally the sampling of Parisian Restaurants and Bars.

A very special trip that will long live in the memories of all those in the party.
