The terrace was built at the turn of the last century and was originally constructed for domestic use. Since the 1940’s the properties have been used as offices. The refurbishment project for the terrace has been divided into five phases. The particular challenge of the project was to fit modern day services into a period and listed building. As many of the ceilings are highly decorative, up lighters using energy efficient compact fluorescents were chosen to give good illumination as well as DSE compatibility. A night time purge by the AHU plant assists in cooling the offices.
