RBK&C Customer Service Centre

Edward Pearce LLP worked with The Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea to create the new Customer Service Centre at Kensington Town Hall.

The greater part of the ground floor of the Grade II listed Town Hall was given over to the customer service centre. The thinking behind the scheme was to bring the council staff to the Borough residents and customers by creating a large reception area with individual meeting rooms and counters rather than the public having to find their way to the various council departments around the building.

The scheme included considerable Building Services input including:

  • Ventilation Services
  • Chilled Cooling
  • Heating
  • Domestic Services
  • Lighting and Lighting Control
  • Power Distribution
  • Fire Services
  • Intruder and Panic Alarms
  • Telephony and Data
  • Controlled Access
